Below is a list of items that will help increase member engagement:


  • Send at least one email newsletter update every other month to members, volunteers, and supporters
  • Add a president’s message, upcoming events, alumnae spotlight, and dues in your email/newsletters sends for alumnae engagement      
  • Send dues reminders exclusively to unpaid members
  • Use the broadcast feature for reminders/notifications
  • Encourage your members to download your MP Mobile App
  • Update your event calendar with all upcoming alumnae events & activities
  • Encourage event attendees to upload photos through the mobile app or create a photo album
  • Send a member profile update reminder once year to make sure you have the most up to date contact information
  • Add multiple admins to share tasks such as new event creation, monthly newsletter communication, or any fundraising initiatives.
  • Update your profile page with photos, videos, new content or updates, or social media links
